Associate Attorneys:

Minimum Requirements- Bachelor of Law Degree from a recognized university, a Legal Education Certificate (LEC) of the Council of Legal Education, a certificate of enrollment for the Supreme Court of Trinidad and Tobago, a valid practicing certificate of the Supreme Court or evidence of having satisfied eligibility of practicing certificate.

Law School Interns (In-service trainees): Appropriate letters/notifications from one of the Council of Legal Education’s three (3) law schools.

Summer Interns (Individuals who are seeking experience in a legal firm): Five (5) CXC O’Level passes, Mathematics and English compulsory. Certificate of Computer Literacy. No experience necessary, we provide on the job training for successful applicants.

Legal Research Officers:

A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree, Five (5) CXC O’Levels, Mathematics and English compulsory, Certificate of Computer Literacy.

Legal Assistants:

Five (5) CXC O’Levels, Mathematics and English Compulsory, Certificate of Computer Literacy, proficient in typing and general office skills.


CXC passes in Mathematics and English, knowledge of Port of Spain and environs/ a Driver’s License/ Vehicle in good condition will be considered an asset.
